I'm from the Rockford area and right when I head he was coming to niu to play ball he would be a difference maker. He has great vision and a decent shot. Played great his first two games!!! Go Huskies

Listening to the S Dakota game. Can't tell much about our team because I do not know how good the competition is or isn't. Lots of new players.

Either way it looks like they were down a lot of the game and overcame adversity and won with a young team. Not a bad start.

+1 I'm from the area, too. A friend of mine who is a respected basketball coach and an Illinois Basketball Hall of Fame inductee (as a player) had some extremely good things to say about that kid.

Porter had a great game today. I was there. Seems like an excellent passer and made a couple three's to help them catch up on the 10 pt. deficit today. Glad he's a Huskie

South Dakota is 250 out of 350 type D1 team, not bad, a good test for a young NIU team. They certainly do not beat themselves
