-The SEC continues to be the best recruiting conference which is no surprise with the amount of national championship they've won and the recruiting grounds they have to work with.

-B1G is starting to raise the bar in conference wide recruiting. Minnesota checks in the Top 40.

-The B12 normally the #2 conference is football strength is losing ground on the recruiting trail. Oklahoma is out recruited this year by Duke, Houston and Minnesota. Could there be negative recruiting against them because they didn't make the 4 team playoff?

It's too early in the cycle. There will be significant movement by signing day.

Yes. And Texas HS players are committing late this year. Last I saw, OU had only signed 7 players. Texas has only 10. Almost all the rest of the top 40 have signed 15-20 (36 of the 40 schools), with Baylor, TCU and Texas A&M on the low end.
