In Memory of those who died today in Paris.

Very sad events. I wonder when and if these terroristic attacks are seen again on U.S. soil - seems to be just a matter of when and not if.

But speaking of which, I don't want to close our borders altogether. If we ever did, we may as well send the Statue of Liberty back to France and say thanks for the loan. I don't know how we can effectively monitor the immigration. I just know that I would prefer not to shut our doors forever. And that you wonder if the great European immigration of the late 19th and early 20th century would have existed if social media existed back then.

Would you support trying hard to eliminate illegal immigration, while maintaining or increasing legal immigration? (I'm not saying that would have much impact on terror risk -- just asking a general question.)
