William and Mary might be pretty good this season. They have had some good seasons where they put a scare into some power 5 teams.

To be fair, it's tough playing two teams at once, I'm surprised they scored as many as they did. Granted, one of them was a girl's team but still.

University of North Florida is an up and coming low mid-major power...having an on campus lazy river has to help recruiting

Bonus for Duke haters: That was Bobby Hurley's first game as Arizona State's head coach.

I know of a certain CSNBBS Administrator that will get a real kick out of the result of the Chattanooga/Georgia score.

We almost had another one out west, but UNLV pulled out a 74-72 win over Cal Poly.

Bonus for Duke haters: That was Bobby Hurley's first game as Arizona State's head coach.

A bonus for Duke haters would be if Duke started losing to those teams. That loss makes ASU look bad and nothing more.

Can you believe how bad 'Zona State is in the revenue sports? They should be a power more often, not taking a backseat to schools like Stanford and Utah.

ASU basketball has had the same problem that many other sports programs have had in the past. An aging long term coach that grew out of touch and thus now a younger coach is brought in to fix the situation.

Considering what Hurley did at Buffalo, I find it amusing folks are already trying to jump all over this after one game. It's basketball, not football. You guys do watch March Madness right? The "little guys" beat the "big guys" from time to time.

How is Arizona State bad at revenue sports? They have been pretty good at football for a few years now and they made a big time hire for basketball to turn that program around. Silly.

Stanford has Warren Buffett-type money and their last two football coaches have been good enough to take advantage of it.

Utah isn't the richest athletic department in the Pac-12, but their head coaches in football and men's basketball are among the two or three best in the conference, and that can go a long way.

It wouldn't be sports, H1, if people didn't overreact over one game.

It is probably my least favorite part of sports.

Do you mean "more than three and a half years ago in the NCAA tournament"?

Don't forget Chaminade beating Virginia. They could add football and join the Pac 12 with West Texas A&M 07-coffee3
