Not sure why everyone is concerned about this. We were the best team most years in the Sun Belt and OVC when we won the conference tournament. The only big exception where the insane runs of 2012 and 2013.

We were the first team out in 2006 and would have received an at-large had we not gotten destroyed in the Sun Belt championship game when Courtney Lee had a broken hand.

We were listed as bubble teams in 2008 and 2009 and probably would have gotten an at-large except we won the tournament.

But to answer your question the most recent at-large I could find was 1987. Of course we've made the NCAA tournament several times since then...1993, 1994, 1995, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2008, 2009, 2012 and 2013. Most of those years we were the best team in the Sun Belt and took care of business in the conference tournament.

No one is concerned. It's just amazing to me you have a fan talking crap about scheduling and how it's ok to have a couple D2 programs on the schedule.

WKUYG and I disagree about scheduling DIIs and will continue to do so. I am okay with that. What I can't live with is his spelling and punctuation (or lack thereof). I am not the grammer police, and this is just a message board, but make it readable. Please.

For the record, I have seen a few people ask about WKU's at-large AND I do not like scheduling D-II as most WKU fans do not like. You can see this by reading our Scout board. YG doesn't speak for all of us when it comes to D-II schools.

he and others explained WHY THE F******* GAME AGAINST CAMPBELLSVILLE was scheduled. it was a last minute add on to the schedule when the FGCU tourney said add a game. it was explained that we reached out to several ovc type teams and were turned down for a buy game or they wanted too much.

not one western fan has said they LIKE d2 games. many, many of the conference brethren have talked **** about it. he just showed other schools where they may be lacking.

you people don't like his delivery but you never refute his numbers. buncha hypocrites that need a 'safe space' from the big bad meanie wkuyg.

I don't typically fact check his numbers but I've refuted the way he was trying to use them and he moved on to talking about how often Treeifbylightning posts about Western. He kinda went from being tiresome to being a dick in my eyes the last week or so. Nobody here needs a "safe space" we're just calling him out for being a dick.

I used numbers to show he was completely off-base about Charlotte's past schedules. He never responded. I think he has problems with both.
