These people actually drive around our campus taking pics of any instance they see an 'L' missing, or if we have 'Louisiana' on our uniforms, fields, etc. Or heaven forbid if one our athletic venues need the least amount of upkeep, because you can be certain that Germdouche will be there to photograph it for 'evidence,' and report it back to the collective.
They even have gone so far as to several pages of the stickied thread dedicated to nothing but our logo, which they have measured the font size (yes, this is actually true), and found it to be 'out of compliance.' Or they have a field day with our founding date. Etc., etc., etc.
The length and breath of this jealousy and obsession from ltu-R with all things UL is not to be believed. It is hard to imagine just how freaking infantile these a-holes are, but all of this is but a small example of the debased idiocy we are forced to deal with from the Ruston Hillbillies.
Try again BR.....your mind is turning into mush living in that dumpster fire and breathing in the fumes that is refineryville.
The thread you reference is actually about the University of Louisiana System. Instead of posting your opinions elsewhere about a thread on BB&B, why not post it there. That would make more sense.
Tech is not obsessed with @ Lafayette. Actually, it appears to be the other way around as Tech folks can't make a post on any board without you people jumping in with your anti Tech rhetoric. So, actually, @ Lafayette fans are not subjected to "debased idiocy we are forced to deal with." You folks bring that on yourselves with anti Tech rhetoric on various boards and the "name game" you have created. Of course, you can't discuss topics rationally but have to post personal insults. That doesn't make sense.
It is you who say I hate UL@L, not me. I don't hate UL@L. I don't like, and have absolutely no respect for, your "name game." You seemingly find that disrespectful of UL@L. You folks try to force people to call you by a name that is not yours. I find your "name game" and the tactics you folks employ disrespectful of other schools in the U of L System. For some reason you take that personally. I, and most Tech fans, were neutral on the name issue until you folks dragged Tech into it with your LTUR nonsense. You have a multiple page thread on RP titled "@ Ruston." Ruston is not and has never been part of Louisiana Tech's name. In the 1800s there was a Ruston College. Louisiana Tech opened as the Industrial Institute and College of Louisiana in 1894. The last time Tech's name was changed was in 1970.
It is certainly disrespectful to ULM to take your UL and/or Louisiana nonsense to their board.
Not to mention what you have called my mother and my wife. Yet, you claim I and other Tech folks are disrespectful to UL@L because we object to your "name game." It's not personal, but you folks certainly get personal with Tech folks.
Like BR Transplant said, if you folks would stop your anti Tech rhetoric and objecting to every post made by Tech folks and the personal insults, you would read very little from Tech fans concerning UL@L. But, your obsession with, jealousy of, and hate for Louisiana Tech keeps you doing it.
1. The thread I referenced is not about the UL System: it is nothing but page after page of idiotic and infantile ranting from the increadbably insecure and obsessed ltu-R fan base about our nickname, branding, etc. All anyone has to do is click on the link provided and they can verify this for themselves.
2. Free speech is not permitted on the ltu-R board, but you know this very well. Any non-ltu-R posts are edited, avatars changed or deleted, etc. It is a perfect reflection of the closed and isolated society that is Ruston. Ask MadDoll why he won't allow free speech on his board...after all, he's the owner and also your best buddy.
3. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks." You can try to deny it all you want, but your hate for us shines through in just about every thing you post. I have provided just a small sample of this on this very thread with the garbage that you spewed out recently on the ULM board. HoustonCajun called you out on it on RP, but you scurried off without answering his question. Typical.
4. Our use of 'Louisusana' is completly legal, ethical and correct. You folks even have a letter from the UL System president herself posted on the ltu-R board verifying this. Just because you don't like something doesn't make it wrong. So we are doing nothing disrespectful towards ULM, or any other school for that matter.
So every time you post your hate-speech about us being 'illegal,' 'unethical,' and 'horrific,' (which are all direct quotes that you have about us,) you are making personal, offensive remarks about 4 generations of UL alumnus in my family....including not only my mother, and my father, but also a great aunt, 2 sisters, a brother, a niece.....and a great day of some of the first people I have ever known. But none of that matters to you: the only thing you want is to speak out on ypthis issue in the most hateful hurtful manner that you can. It matters not to you the effects your words may have, as you are totally incapable of seeing any wrong doing on your part.
