Freeze is a good coach. Ole Miss has at least been in the national picture recently - compare that to where they were before he came. Competing in the SEC west is a murderer's row of competition - mostly against teams with bigger fan bases and budgets than Ole Miss.

if strong leaves texas he could go there, which would leave ole miss job open......then they hire fuente

04-bow That's a stretch. Texas would want a winner, hope Texas doesn't go after Coach Fuente.

Is Fuente desperate enough to coach Ole Miss, or is this just the Black Bear's wet dream?

a wet dream of hanging a hunnert on the Tigers' D

I really doubt it. There is a group that is getting tired of some of the reoccurring issues, but overall...most Ole Miss fans are pleased with what he's been able to do for the program. Losing these next 2 games would be a REALLY bad look, but not enough to get him fired by any means. Heck, he won't even be on the hot seat. I don't think people understand just hot bad that program was when he took over...for a school like Ole Miss to be in the position it's in says a lot about Freeze's performance.

He needs to change some things up

RE: Will Hugh Freeze be HC at Ole Miss 2016?
Issues with Freeze:

Ole Miss still doesn't have a run game
OL coach (Matt Luke) still employed
Hired Corey Batoon (friends w/ Freeze) to replace Tom Allen as LB coach when Allen took USF DC position. Bad hire...lots of good options
Curious/predictable play-calling
Too much "coach speak"
Recruiting misses at LB and OL - really obvious now
Losing games team should win

All that makes for a "warm seat" but not hot, and certainly not fire-able....
