I saw this the other day. In all honesty I think it would benefit all officers to go through this type training. In tense situations there needs to be cool heads on the correct side.

Hmmmm....wonder where the CIT officers were when they brought 9 kinds o' hell down on the animal hoarder last year and put him to sleep permanently? Yep, way to de-escalate.
