If ECU had even beaten one of them, you'd be damn sure you'd tout that off too so I'm gonna say you're wrong... maybe if ECU gets it turned around you can start trying to catch up to NIU's on field success.

RE: Iowa 2015 National Champions
You know on the Iowa message boards there was a guy back in August who predicted Iowa would start 12-0 and we all laughed at him too. Now he is a legend on our boards. Who is laughing now?
But hey laugh all you want. Iowa fans are just enjoying the ride. Its all bonus here on out.

First, you did not beat a national champion team you beat a program that won a national champion in the past. That is a huge difference. Virginia Tech beat the national champion last year Ohio State no one else can say that not even Michigan who has beat Ohio State several times.
Second, No I would not. Who celebrates beating a team in the past because they have won a national championship years later? I would guess a very young person (between 12-19 years of age) Also here is a list of all the programs we have beaten that have claimed national championships:
Missouri
Stanford
Miami
Pitt
Syracuse
SMU
Duke
Army
Navy
But non of it matters because we did not beat them the years of their national championship.

If you're implying im between the ages of 12-19, you're way off base
Also hush, people with programs that have winning records are talking. And don't gimme that "waaahhhhh 4th string QB" crap. NIU just won 2 games (one on national TV against a ranked team) with our 4th string QB. Recruit better and you won't have this depth problem...

I wouldn't mind seeing it. I get very tired of the same few power programs winning it year after year. So sure, let the Hawkeyes have their moment in the sun.

So you go on and passive aggressively tout your school's past wins. WUT?..
