I'd imagine a coach who wants to rise in the profession wants to take those things on as long as the destination isn't straight to the coaches graveyard. So, that point is irrelevant.

Maybe he didn't realize how deep the pile of crap that Mack left was, but Texasfan needs to realize that. Mack would have probably endured the blanking at Iowa State if he was still around. So, I'll give Charlie props for taking on the challenge, I guess, since he's not pouting over it--though the situation is what it is.

While Strong has no interest in belaboring a past that can't be undone, opposing coaches, provided anonymity by Sports Illustrated's Pete Thamel and Thayer Evans, reportedly criticized Brown and his staff for not signing quality players and for an atmosphere of entitlement that has led to public conflicts with the younger athletes.

"In two years, Charlie could not have f----- that place up," a coach told SI. "It was already f---- up before."

"Mack knew the s--- going on, he just didn't want to own up to it," another coach said. "He knows what he left."

@rodbabers a lot of it is the truth big bro don't be oblivious.. the place was a mess

Oh I know it was, fully agree. Just sayin when I criticized Mack, I did it to his face & put my name on it. https://t.co/PlAIQCGJMH

Another coach said: "(University of Texas) kids have always been entitled. They've been given everything. They're usually four- and five-star recruits that don't feel like they have to work. They just thought they could show up."

With post like this you are likely to increase you neg ratings. It's clear from previous post you've made that you hate the "U" and we know you love Central Florida. It's a HC opening in the ACC. It's foolish and fool hardy to say no one would want this position. It's not for everyone and a desire for many.

What I am implying in was that why would couches want to leave for the U because of what went down? Golding got crap fell into his lap because of the Ponzi boaster, and the money and gifts he gave to the President, the coaches and the players? That issue is still not settle from a long run.

I have determined that when you read DavidSt posts if you imagine they were typed by this:

No. I am talking about the Ponzi boaster who is in prison doing his time. He named several coaches that were involved like Switzer, and so forth. I can't remember who was involved in the ponzi scheme, but one of the former coaches before Golding was involved. Golding had no shot even to get things turned around after the self banishment from post season and all that.
