I already bought new PJs for the game, well before they were asking fans to do it.

It said for students.. I would be surprised if they get that many students out at 6am on a school day, I hope I am very wrong and
the chance to be on TV and other promos gets them out. But 6am
comes early if you have first period class.

I'm thinking that they are "encouraging" the other student athletes to go to the games, as I saw several of them at the game last week. The athletic department is at least on the right track for getting more student involvement. I hope the lure of cash and being on TV brings out a decent crowd.

Here is something else for you don't like my posts don't read them,

you think 500 students will be there? We don't have 500 other student athletes that can be encouraged to come.

I am going to drag my ass out of bed and be there at 6am like I have just about every game for the last 35 years,
why can't I get a free cup of coffee? Just saying the promo would have been better for everybody. Free coffee and donuts
isn't much of a bribe for students, reward the people who are coming anyway.

Maybe we can get the students to start protesting and create a ''safe space'' for the doughnuts and coffee. Seems to be working at other institutions.

I just got an email that says Dunkin Donuts vendors will be on site to offer "breakfast favorites available for purchase".

ESPN is coming to Freedom Hall and our concern is that broke college kids get free coffee and we may have to spend a buck fifty on our own cup.

Geez get some perspective. THESE are the good ol days. Get your nose out of your own navel and look around. Forbes has KILLED it this offseason. Ten new players. Unbelievable promise.

Geez....one thing I have learned about this site is some folks take this all too serious.

I'm not waking up and driving 50 minutes at 5am to drink coffee. I don't see how we have any students show up, but I could be wrong. It is on TV.

I am going but will be the only one of my family there. I overheard people around me at the exhibition saying they would not be there. I doubt there will be 50 students and 500 fans at that game. Like others, I hope I am wrong.

Well that coffee and those donuts are going to be pretty nasty by the 28th when we play our next home game if they are going to wait on 500 students to show.

Well if the athletic department leans on the other sports to show that will be a couple of hundred.. we have football now.
