Congratulations to Mr. Dixon, and to Louisiana Tech fans. He has put on quite a show, and I look forward to seeing him play on Sundays!

He does have one weakness... the tendency to fumble. We have lost a couple of games where he fumbled at crucial times (Kansas and NW State). He has done much better this year, but the NFL doesn't tolerate fumbles.

there are varying offensive styles in the nfl.....I would bet half think it's a nonissue and the the whole will think it's coachable....

unless he gets hurt, he goes mid 2nd IMO....

I think he is really good and will be drafted in the 3rd or so but my concerns as an NFL GM would be twofold:

1) He fumbles.

2) He has quite a bit of wear on the tires. He's been a total workhorse at La Tech for several years.

He has protected the ball very well this year compared to previous ones.
I agree with shifty's no.2. Skip has been trying to protect Dixon this year - he used Dixon a lot less this year compared to last year.

El Paso is a pretty hospitable place and I believe his next game is there. He will likely get his TD record there but he is welcome to throw in a couple of fumbles too. Great player.

skip knows they don't draft reggie bush/emmitt smith at the 1 anymore....the pounding backs take now vs. 20 yrs ago is apples/oranges

and now everyone understands the rewards from having a gurley....

somebody will see value and overbid....nfl gms are more narcissistic than the avg bear

however, the team that needs a 9-15 touches guy is licking their chops.....it's why backs are dropping in the pecking order.....same value for less money....

pretty solid when it comes to business....

Dixon is a good WR, blocks well and is a good team member so those will all be a plus for the NFL. He does tend to get a little overly excited at teams and has had some issues with fumbles though.

Sounds like DeMarco Murray

I just hope he has a better career than Ryan Moats. Him and Dixon are battling for the best running back in the history of Tech in my opinion. Even though Moats was drafted in the third round, he never got a solid chance to play in the NFL. I hope whomever drafts Kenneth gives him a chance to shine.

I'd like to see him in Houston. Close to home. Arian Foster has done well there and they need someone to replace Foster soon.

Reynolds already tied Ball's record and is likely to break it this weekend.

Reynolds tied balls rushing TD record. Dixon is after the total TD record. Rushing and receiving. This is also the record for most points for a non kicker.
Ball 83 career TDs, Dixon 81, Reynolds 77.

But Dixon has one big problem: Reynolds and Navy still have 4 regular season games left to play, while LA Tech and Dixon have only 2 left to play.

Hopefully he has another 0 TD game like last week.
