Houston area TV ratings
So at 2:30 on Saturday, here's what the Houston area watched

Network Games
ABC - #16 Florida St/#1 Clemson 3.2
FOX - #8 TCU/#14 Okla St 2.8
CBS - #18 Ole Miss/Ark 1.9

Cable Games
ESPN - #9 Iowa/Indiana 0.6
ESPN2 - #25 Houston/Cincy 2.9

Every other game had a team rated higher than Houston. Two games had both teams rated higher than Houston.

And we beat the Big 12 network game. Beat the SEC network game. Crushed the Big 10 cable game. All from lowly ESPN2.

So what % 'bump' do you expect ESPN to offer the AAC?

Way to go Houston! Great season, great tv numbers and a brand new expandle stadium. Also worth mentioning is that Houston has been winning consistently going to bowls for the past 10 years. The big 12 rumors will be coming again and Houston probably deserves a big 12 invite to play vs their former conference mates from the SWC.

Let not get ahead of ourselves with the "BIG XII" talk. It was a good week in ratings and that is great for the AAC.

I hate how everything that University "X" does that is very good has to divert to University "X" is proving they are worthy of invite to conference "Y" on this board.
It does nothing but promote the vitriol between schools. The majority of the schools in this conference are worthy in some way. It is the cartel that doesn't want to admit it due to greed of money and power.

4 teams in the Top 25 says enough

Believe all of those "network games" above went head-to-head with afternoon start times while UH game was in prime time.

I see the twitter dude didn't show LSU vs Alabama TV rating which was on network tv in prime time. (Prime time games generally do better than afternoon games)

The Houston game was not in prime time. It started at 2:30. Prime time would be 6-9 p.m.

Incorrect. All were 2:30 games. That's the whole point of the comparison.

Houston has 0 TV value to the Big12 because of carriage fees. The ACC, PAC, BIG are far more likely for Houston than the Big12.
