He writes so much truth. It is so raw, so vital.

I am one of the negative ones on this forum supposedly, but I don't think I would waste my time putting down so many words about such a worthless program.

So 'vital' to your negative state of mind. Truly pathetic.

So it's just makes you feel better to spend time on a public forum to tell everybody else about the worthless program, that you don't care about, and would prefer be shut down?

You seriously have that much free time on your hands? Haha

This is the only reasonable perspective on the football program right now. Optimism is nothing more than "magical thinking" -- there is nothing in reality to remotely suggest that improvement is possible, let alone likely.

That said, I think it may be easier for Jeremy to disconnect from the football program than it is for some of us. I think he went to Mizzou. If I had gone to Mizzou, I sure as hell wouldn't follow EMU.

Huh ? I am on the forum to voice my opinion about a sports team. This whole thing "don't say anything unless you have something nice to say" works with wives and girlfriends.

You can wrap crap in a cashmere cover but it will still be crap at the end of the day.

They said the same thing about Temple 10 years ago. Just before they voted 8-7 to not shut the program down.

Where is our Al Golden? Creighton is not Al Golden...because Golden's Owls showed significant improvement from year one to year two.

Maybe, maybe not. If it were up to you we'd just whine and shut it down.

Golden was 1-11, 4-8, 5-7, 9-4, 8-4. Let's see where we're at in year 3. If we win 5 I'm sure it still won't be enough.

To be completely honest, I would be thrilled if the football program ended up at 4-8 in Creighton's second season.

Are we a 4-8 team right now? Yes or no answer please.

I'd be thrilled with 5 wins next year, but it won't happen. Would you like to wager on it?

That's the point. We're not close to that level.

Because the past 25 years are the fault of the fans?

I'm very confident that they are intelligent enough to figure out what kind of program they are stepping into. It isn't difficult to read a boxscore.

I like you WN; you're better than this kind of post. Leave this sort of thing to the football dads.
