TLL
Sorry if I missed it but I didn't see a thread on the status for Tomee Lee Lewis. Is he out for the year as well? Anyone know what the official injury is?

Great news, this kid is fragile, we need him though.... Love it when he is healthy.

RE: TLL
Carey said he could play this week. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sit this week so he's ready for the Boat Rowers.

RE: TLL
While I agree it probably makes the most sense to have him sit this week to be sure he's healthy, I think if TLL can walk, he'll be out there. Last week, he looked like a guy that sees his time in football running short and is going all out until that point. Good luck convincing him to take a week off if he's anywhere close to able to go.

Agreed. By the way, I heard a rumor that Barksdale transferred 03-lmfao

Sorry, needed to make a stupid joke

Agree. We're in no position to hold him back "until he's needed". These are all MUST games and he's needed now. Really need him to stretch the field like he did in the first half last week.

Buffalo is no gimme.

Its ok, according to ESPN2 when our game was televised, TLL is a junior. So even if he sits out the rest of the year he'll be back next year as a senior.

Ryan Graham is also a junior as well.

No. TLL is a RS Senior.

RE: TLL
TLL absolutely love the guy, but its hard at this point to say he is a huge loss when he has not been healthy for any straight 2 game stretch this year. So much talent, I feel so bad for him that he has had these issues. Just from watching games on TV, it seems like he has really become an emotional leader for this team though.

Sorry, i guess my sarcasm didn't go through well enough. ESPN2 was displaying a bunch of our players as juniors when they were not.

Carey just said on the radio show that TLL won't be playing vs UB but he will be making the trip.

I wonder if they aren't using him as the second string to avoid burning his RS.

My understanding is the only thing that matters is if you play a snap or not. You can be on the two-deep, but if you actually play is what burns a redshirt

Yup. Carey said he missed fall camp and doesn't have as good of a handle of the playbook as Fiddler.

Yea I'm surprised he's even the 3rd and not the other freshman

Me too but we are super thin and still close to a division title.

If Toledo loses to CMU then I would guess there is no chance that Santa gets his RS burned.
