???

WMU is still in the drivers seat regardless of the outcome of this game.

If Toledo wins, WMU and NIU are driving separate vehicles that are on a collision course.

And, if Toledo wins, WMU and NIU both control their own destiny.

Yeah that's what I mean with saying "WMU is in the driver's seat". A BG loss doesn't do anything to WMU. Will they beat UT NIU WMU? No, very doubtful. But we also cannot predict the future.

So yes, regardless of the outcome of CMU-UT, WMU is indeed in the driver's seat considering they have not lost. NIU would indeed control their own destiny as well.

I would like to see us beat Buffalo on Wednesday.

As confident a Huskie as I am, we are in a very, very delicate situation.

Let us hope we don't ever understand who Tommy Fiedler's back-up is.

And, golly yes I will drink the cool-aid and have at it....3-0 and on to the MAC championship (with Toledo besting CMU).

But, other scenarios exist that are more plausible.

Defensive coordinators are preparing for Ryan Graham and our offensive possibilities.

I do believe that it would take Drew Hare's best (and NIU's) to beat WMU. I am simply being objective.

As they say, Ryan, your table is ready.

Not to talk about too much WMU before we play Buffalo but I see NIU's D keeping us in all games moving forward. I think Graham and our O will be ok, they will make mistakes, but after watching Toledo and how Graham stepped up we should be very competitive. Need some Defensive TD's, that would help.

Nothing would surprise me the rest of the season. With a fourth string inexperienced QB and a hobbled T Lee we could lose 2 of 3. However, if Graham can play as well as he did last week and if everyone brings their A game realizing that it is critically needed we could win out. This team has a ton of talent and the guys really pulled together at Toledo so anything's possible.

I know that this will not be popular but my head says this could be PJ's year to win the West.

I kind of feel like its the year of the Chip, I think they beat Toledo tomorrow, perhaps convincingly. CMU standing toe to toe with Ok St, looks even more impressive now.

RE: I hate to say it, but GO TOLEDO!
If Toledo loses than NIU is out of the Detroit picture.
CMU would own the tiebreaker over NIU in a two one loss team race.
WMU would likely win a 3 way tie (of one loss teams)and goto Detroit.
WMU would likely win a 3 way tie (of two loss teams)and goto Detroit.
NIU is unlikely to win any 3 way tie situation.
BGSU needs to beat WMU.
NIU needs to win out and have both CMU and WMU lose twice.
Best and most likely scenario: NIU and Toledo are the only one loss teams. Then NIU goes to Detroit the 6th time.

As long as CMU loses to UT tomorrow and NIU wins out, NIU will be in MACC, of course if CMU wins tomorrow night you can crown them right there

Sorry MD. Have to disagree.
Unlikely that Chips beat Toledo. Toledo have won the last 5 games against CMU.
WMU probably have the Mac East crossover advantage.

NIU not only needs to win out but have CMU and WMU lose twice.

Should WMU beat BGSU in Kalamazoo they are the clear front runners for the MAC West.

If Toledo wins tomorrow, I don't think NIU needs WMU to lose twice, just against the Huskies.

If NIU beats WMU, and assume Toledo beats CMU, wouldn't NIU win a three way tiebreaker between Toledo and WMU since NIU would have beaten both teams. Actually now I am confused, but if NIU wins out and Toledo beats CMU, would that not give NIU the west no matter what WMU does in their other games? If WMU won out besides NIU it would be a 2-game tiebreak between NIU and WMU and NIU would have head to head

Yes MD lol. Pretty simple, Toledo beats CMU, NIU wins out, NIU is MAC West champ.

I am having a flashback to sometime around a decade ago, didn't Toledo let NIU down in a game against BG? You just know Toledo will fall flat on its face tomorrow.

Would that be the same Toledo team that you said was worthy of the Access Bowl slot?

Any three team tie involves comparing MAC East teams played.
WMU would most likely win that.
NIU is very unlikely to win any three team tie, due to its poor MAC East teams played record. UMass has 1 win only and NIU did not play BGSU.
