Just noticed Chris is one TD away from matching Mardy Gilyard for most career TD receptions as a Bearcat. Would love to see him accomplish and surpass that feat at home on Senior Day.

Yep; have to agree. Part of an amazing group of receivers that the home fans will get to see for the last time @ Nippert. Hope our fellow Bearcat fans feel the same way and turn out in large numbers to honor the seniors.

RE: Chris Moore
What does UC's receiving corp look like for next year?

Without looking it up I believe UC loses .... Moore, McKay, Holton, Morrison, Chisum, and Washington. Who is left?

RE: Chris Moore
Cole had a few catches after Holton went down Saturday and Lewis is supposed to be a future star. TT said they weren't going to redshirt him because he's so good he wouldn't be here 5 years. We also have the two transfers, one of whom is the brother of NFL star Patrick Peterson.

Nate Cole, Tshumbi Johnson, Khalil Lewis are the returning players. Only Cole has significant playing time.

We get two new transfers who need to be ready for primetime right away... Avery Peterson (LSU) and Jamil Kumara.

With the strength being in the running game and with Dowdy back at TE I wonder if we will go back to that Pro Style Offense Tubs talked about his first year.

RE: Chris Moore
Cole is going to be really good IMO. I've said that for several years. It's just hard for any underclassmen to see the field right now with the makeup of the WR corp.

So we will lose: Johnny Holton, Shaq Washington, Alex Chisum, Max Morrison, Chris Moore, and Mekale McKay.

Non-seniors who look promising: Nate Cole, Jamil Kamara, Tshumbi Johnson

We have a bunch of freshman this year that I haven't seen play, so I can't tell you much on them: Kahil Lewis (3 star), Braxton Neal, Justin Sawmiller, Frank Labady (3 star), Brayden Beard.

I marked those at 3 stars, everyone else is at 2 or lower.

Next year's class isn't complete, but we have a 3 star wide receiver commit of Andrew Parchment.

We also have two 4 star wide receiver transfers who are eligible to play next year.

All in all, I think we'll have 6/7 who will be ready to start based on what I've seen. I hope i'm right.

There's also Ty Neal, Labady, and Beard. The tweener, DeGuera, from California put up monster numbers in HS, so hopefully he could contribute as well if he's fully recovered from surgery.

In general, I've never worried about our WRs being a barrier to us having a successful season. I have confidence they'll be, as a group, above average at worst next year. We also have Labady who I'm guessing will play the slot but he's certainly inexperienced at this point.

With Kiel back it seems like going to a pro style wouldn't necessarily be the best route. I'd be more concerned about our OL's ability to play in a pro style offense effectively. I think we've shown this season we're pretty balanced (376 passes, 361 rushes) and still run the ball effectively (4.5 ypc average - although some of our RBs are averaging much better than that but I digress) out of the current offensive package. But I wouldn't be surprised to see us use TEs more with Dowdy and Cogswell next year.

Yep that would be great. He is one hell of a WR.

Braxton Neal (Ty is the baseball coach).

We are going to have to rely on a lot of guys who have not had to play meaningful minutes in a CFB game.

TT must be happy to see all of the senior WR's gone so that next year he can lean on the "inexperience card" as his crutch
