P5 bias carries over to Field Hockey
Despite being the undefeated, 2-time defending champion and ranked #1/#2 all season, UCONN was given the #4 seed in this year's field hockey tournament. All 7 ACC teams made the field and received the top 3 seeds: #1 Cuse (17-1), #2 UNC (17-2), #3 Virginia (14-5).
Complete bias P5 BS.

That doesn't seem right. If the women's basketball team gets shafted too, you'll know the fix is definitely in.

RE: P5 bias carries over to Field Hockey
just looking- because I'm not a field hockey person.... looked at the RPI...
UConn is only #9 in the RPI.
other BE teams:
Old Dominion #19
Temple #38
Providence #57
Georgetown #66
Villanova #70
(there are 78 teams listed in the RPI).
UConn the only team in the conference with a winning record.
It seems pretty fair to me. Conference just killed them this year.
