Fair enough. Thanks. I really wasn't sure. I still hate them. I understand the necessity of the ones that come as part of the tournaments (WKU's first one), but I really don't understand why anyone would schedule them by their own will.

Precisely. I don't think anyone wants them or likes them (unless you're coming off a 25-loss season and just need some confidence for your team).

I hate to keep this going, but I would like to point out that even after our absolutely dreadful 5-25 season, we still didn't schedule any D-II opponents in the regular season.

That's fair, but again ODU has about 50 Division I schools within 250 miles.

At Middle Tennessee, we have about 30 and six of those are SEC schools. A few more a SWAC schools with a bunch of OVC ang A-Sun schools.

We either have the SEC or a hand full of teams from one bid leagues that will all have crap RPIs around us (aka within bus range). Thankfully, we got the Emerald Tournament last year and play in the Alaska Shootout this year (even if the field isn't as good as it used to be).

Good luck everyone. If the bottom of the conference will just be average this year we can get a multi-bid thing going.

Are these going to be aired on Fox1 or ASN? CANNOT WAIT to see these. WKUYG and Dawgxas, do you think you could kindly give us updates as the games progress? Like how many times does Ray Harper go on the court and shouts in a Soupcan player's ears while they are shooting or how many times the TV camera pans on Dawgxas muttering "ODU" with his teeth clenched and the vein on the side of his head popping out in pure rage - these would make a great drinking game while I am viewing the games. Any insight here would be greatly appreciated, particularly since you are lucky enough to be able to see these games live. Oh, and WKUYG, please keep that ticket stub so you can proudly prove how much greater a fan you are than the rest of us schmucks.

Again it was you ( a freaking mod) that took this personal. I believe you broke at least 2 or 3 board rules in doing so.

You can call it like you want...I am a better fan than you. You sit at home crying about something you think you saw on TV. I'm spending the money I make at Burger King...watching my school play ...in person.

Again...don't take it to a personal level, unless you intent to back it up. You never know who's going to show you for a lazy couch potato that only talks and no action.
