Now let's watch as Marshall totally screws it up...

1. Let's take a blackout game that is suppose to hype the fans and players and make it about a plane crash. A simple throwback could do that this week. The "blackout game" could have been done for an earlier home game this year. FAIL.

2. Fans and players have waited for this for decades!!! Let's just get a new jersey and call it a black uniform. No matching pants or helmets. FAIL.

3. Instead of unveiling the half uniform (or more like a 1/3 of a uniform) on game day let's do it 18 hours after the most poor performance of the year. FAIL.

The ineptitude of our athletic department is astounding. They wonder why people complain. It's because we have no vision, marketing strategy, common sense, or talent running things. Everything is copied, generic, sub-par, and half @$$ed.

BLACK Jersey, GREEN pants, WHITE helmet. Seriously? We're not even half-@$$ing anymore...we're 1/3- @$$ing. It's getting ridiculous.

there is also the concept of winning the game that some find important......

I always hated marketing but understood why it mattered.....this thread backs up that belief as valid....\

biatching about marketing is akin to enjoying a gilligan vs skipper cage match....

Marshall fans will always find something to complain about.
