Yep, definitely some toughies this week.

TUES 11/10

Kent St. 24 @ Ohio 20. Earlier in the season, I would have picked Ohio by probably a couple TDs. Since then, Ohio has been reduced to a makeshift LB corps, Vick will be playing hurt IF he plays, and there are other injuries I won't even go into. Kent played Buffalo tough last week. I think the Flashes break through.

Toledo 27 @ CMU 34. I've been mulling this one over all week, and I honestly don't know what will happen. I think CMU will be recharged after 10 days off and better for getting a few players back from the injury list. Toledo could come out flat after the NIU loss, or they could come out focused and charged. In either case, we have been tough at home, losing only to Okie State, and not by much to them. The CMU defense is surging at the right time, and the weather forecast favors our passing attack. I think we'll put together a complete game, slow down the Toledo ground game just enough, and end the Rockets' recent hold over us.

WED 11/11

NIU 28 @ Buffalo 27. I really wanted to pick the Bulls here, with NIU missing a couple of critical pieces on offense, but the NIU defense, I feel, will help the offense out just enough.

BGSU 44 @ WMU 38. Barnburner alert! OK, it's equally possible that the forecasted inclement weather will dampen the offenses of both teams, but I see BGSU having a little more firepower in either case.

SAT 11/14

Akron 31 @ Miami 17. Neither team has shown a lot on offense this season, but Akron has a good D. That means trouble for the RedHawks.

UMass 44 @ EMU 34. Another one that could erupt into a shootout. I was tempted for about 1.5 seconds to pick EMU, but I'm not getting fooled again. I would not be shocked by an EMU win, but...nope.
