Navy Vs. Temple
If somehow both these teams win the remaining games of their regular season games they would have each played two ranked (or nearly ranked) common opponents.
Both lost to ND. If Temple beats Memphis, then both will have beaten Memphis. Obviously a lot can happen before this scenario comes to fruition but it would make an interesting AAC championship game nonetheless.

Does host go to the highest ranked team? I'm not sure.

As far as record, would 11-1 trump 10-1?

tie breaker order
1) conference record
2) head to head
3) overall record
4) cfb playoff ranking
5) if no one is ranked, whoever beat the highest ranked conference team that the other didnt

#3 gives it to Temple on a technicality, but 50K at the Linc would look better than 32K in Annopolis IMO. East (Philly) meets West (Annapolis). How's that for a geography twist?

but like i noted, i HIGHLY, HIGHLY DOUBT that we'd rob navy on some technicality especially as a "valued" member of our deal
IMO if the scenario plays out like the OP. it will come down to rank

The Owls played Navy last year and lost 31-24 and, like most teams, had difficulty with their option. Temple had the ball down at the Navy 10 yd. line at the end of the game when I believe PJ turned it over.
