I will have to say that new athletic facility Rice is building will be nice. It will certainly enhance their image in Texas. Good game to the Owls and the chance for bowl eligibility is still out there. The Eagles played well but they must stay grounded and focused for the next game.

Was watching pretty close. My neighbors son got in on the o line when mathews went in. There was no drop off in how physical we were up front.

It was seriously like 235 or something.

Great game, Eagles. The rise of the defense in particular has been a nice surprise.

I think it's a percentage that stops at 100. he was 23 for 30, 386 yards and no picks.

if he doesn't get conference player of the week, I will be surprised.

The rise of this defense has totally been the key to this year. At first i was confident we could win 6 just from outscoring people.
It has gotten fun to watch our defense again. Every 3rd and long today the rice qb had no chance.

Congrats on the win, Eagles!
I couldn't watch any game today due to traveling but WOW - I'm impressed with the score :)

Think about how much better our D, especially our DL, would be with Will Freeman out there.
The guys are playing with a confidence and "swagger" again on defense, and it's fun to watch.
