Ha. Ok. We're going to be 5-7, with half our 2 deep on our o-line out and our top 3 options at QB hurt or ineligible. We're going to be very good next year. Especially with Hawkins gone. The young guys in the secondary look good. Bigger and Overton are overrated and more than replaceable. Most of our d-line returns I believe. We don't lose anybody but Boyd and Hairston on offense. Add Derrell Scott, Summers at WR, Terrell Green, Nelson/Benkert. We're going to be in the race for the east until the end if we don't win it.

What do you mean we'll be 5-7? As bad as this team is I don't see how you could guarantee a victory over anyone. I have never seen a more inept offense at ECU in my life. Our offensive coordinator has absolutely no business being an OC at any FBS school. I think his playbook consists of 4 plays. We have a DB that couldn't cover anyone to save his own life. I really like Ruffin McNeil but I now believe he is in over his head and his loyalty is gonna cost him his job so we might as well go ahead and cut the cord before we fall even futher behind.

My biggest concern now, is how long it will take for Compher and Co. to make a change. Unfortunately, the rapidly changing landscape of college football doesn't afford us the luxury of time.

Agreed. I knew we had no chance vs USF.

I hate this stat because, at first look, it is inaccurate as hell. Why give Kemp the VT win when it wasn't even him that won the game for us? To be fair, it happened the other way around as well. Don't know if the W/L would be the same if you gave them the actual credit for winning their respective games...but assigning the credit by starts seems like complete ignorance of how/when each QB has played..

Exactly. The SMU game Kemp gets credit for the win because he started yet ECU was down 23-7 and looked like they were about to get blown out till Summers came in and scored 42 straight points. Giving Kemp credit for that is stupid.
