I don't see Houston being favored by more than 5. We have to replace our lockdown corner, I bet. And that is who Memphis will pick on. Here's to Memphis's traditional slow starts.

Outside of my obvious trolling (that shouldn't have been taken seriously), I've always said Houston would be a slight favorite. If Jackson is out, that flips things to Memphis being a slight favorite. Lynch would have a matchup he would always be able to exploit.

Just wanted to come over and say congrats to UH. Keep it going. At least there's one other TX team I'm glad to root for. We have an un-extinguishable dumpster fire going on in SM.

I'd be very surprised if Houston wins on Saturday. Everything points to a Memphis win, the only question is by how much.

Having watched both teams I think Memphis has a better offense and Houston is better on d. I think it's a coin flip. I think Memphis just had an off night against navy and navy was a tough matchup

You don't have a night off in games like these especially when so much is in line.

Dont get me wrong, I was shock as many everywhere, I too had Memphis over Navy... I honestly believe Memphis overlooked this game.

in the post game presser fuentes made it seem like it had nothing to do with overlooking, or mistakes...he made it seem like memphis just wasnt built to stop navy and their style of football. he said if they played a perfect mistake free game he wasnt sure if the outcome would have been much different

and its kinda sad that all the memphis fans just disappered after 1 loss... the regulars are still here (shere and a few others) but all the new trash talking memphis fans that recently started commenting here all disappeared .. it was 1 loss, dont be that fair weather

Memphis CHOKED? That's laughable. We just got our butts kicked, plain and simple. Played poorly, absolutely, but Navy had a lot to do with it. Choked is when you give away a game you should have won. We weren't close to that last night, on either side of the ball.

As a UConn fan, I am selfishly hoping for a Houston win. It would be awesome to have your undefeated team head up here in November with your playoff aspirations and our bowl aspirations on the line. Now, if you want to get banged up along the way to a win, that is OK by us
