Navy played just about a perfect game. Zero turnovers, only 2 penalties for 5 yards. Plus 3 turnover edge. Congrats!

I wish they played a perfect game against ND because they may have beat them with a perfect game as well. Minus 2 turnover disadvantage with 3 turnovers in that game.

I have not felt this good about a Navy win since we broke the 43-year ND streak in '07.


Memphis posters have been pretty gracious, thanks. You overall were not overconfident ahead of time, but there are some other posters who denigrated Navy beforehand whose opinions I would like to hear...I will start going down my list tomorrow...

Congratulations, we lost to the better team tonight. Very impressive.

I echo the TIGER fans in this thread thus far; just got back in from the game.

Navy is extremely disciplined and more physical than people might think. Has some speed to the outside on runs. Crafty playcalling on the 75 yard TD pass and late in 2nd quarter, when another perfectly called and executed pass play was simply dropped in the end zone.

TIGERS made errors and Navy made them pay for each one.

MEMPHIS lost to the better team.

Good luck the rest of the way. I assure all other fans of other team the Middies are a tough draw.

Y'all were better than us tonight and probably every night from what I saw, and we are a pretty good football team.

Thanks, but that's kind of the thing. We have more than "some speed", our slotbacks are really fast, just small. Our FBs are really fast too, & HUGE.

Most people think too much history with Navy and don't realize how really good our current team is. Just an FYI, our staff is really excited about our SO & FR classes too. Just hope they're right.
