Eh, Boise State went 38-3 in the 2009, 2010, 2011 seasons with their loaded rosters that was as high as 2nd and 5th in the BCS rankings after week 8, if it weren't for heartbreaking losses against Nevada (Kyle Brotzman lost that game) & TCU. Those teams had a lot of talent that I think were all seriously good teams and not just a product of the WAC & MWC.

Definitely possible if the OOC schedule isn't garbage and a team has tough teams to beat.
