Charlotte at FIU Game Thread
I didn't see one of these so figured I'd start it. Huge game for FIU if they want to keep their bowl hopes alive. If Charlotte can get any kind of QB play I think it will be a close one. My realist view of that happening is overwhelming my optimistic hope unfortunately so I think FIU will pull away late.

Hope I'm wrong though, Go Niners!

I'm not able to find a stream.

As frustrating as it is, it's probably better than the alternative of actually finding a stream.

RE: Charlotte at FIU Game Thread
ASN stream lost power and is down. So FIU gets a noon football game to be on TV, which kills attendance, but ASN is such a piece of crap that it isn't even being shown.

Apparently the generator in the ASN truck blew up. Trying to find out if coverage is done for the rest of the day. What a freaking joke.

I think every Charlotte fan except McNeill's mom and dad are wondering why he is our QB.

Ever see that Kia (I think) commercial where the dad is talking about how great his son played, and the mom is daydreaming about him being an announcer because he sucks at football?

That's McNeil's parents right now.

FIU up 21-7 early in the 2nd quarter. Really wish I could actually watch the game. FIU has a ridiculous score differential between home and road games this year.

Yeah, that is funny. You know the players see what we see. It is only a matter of time before they quit on the coaches when they feel they are not given the best chance to win.

I don't think that is a stretch to say between the blocked punts, short punts and missed field goals, that our kickers are costing us 12 points a game.

Our opponent's starting field position average for the season is probably close to the 50 yard line. Always easier when you only need to play half the field.

FIU just returned the favor with a missed FG of our own.

I'm starting to get the feeling that there's a mental thing in play.

McNeil has to be showing something impressive in practice, otherwise the coaches wouldn't keep giving him starts. Perhaps it's just a matter of getting him as comfortable in games as he is in practice?

From the sounds of it he got a strong start today. Maybe he's starting to get comfortable?

As frustrating as it all is, I'll hold on to hope. If this is the case, and the staff has identified McNeil as having that kind of potential, I'll take some losses this year to win more next year.

Us blocking the punt for a touchdown would really be returning the favor.
