Thought I would make a separate thread specific to our opponents this year. A place where we can discuss news, scores, injuries, common opponents, etc for the 2015-16 season. I got the idea from the discussions on the early exhibitions talked about in other threads. Anyway, after a quick look at our out of conference opponent schedules, I noticed we do have some common games this year.

Tennesse: UNC Asheville, Georgia Tech

Villanova: vs. Georgia Tech (potentially)

Georgia Tech: Tennessee, Green Bay, Villanova (potentially), Wofford

Ga. tech beats UT 69-67

Didn't watch it all, but both teams looked physical.

Another one tonight...UNCW beat Eastern Kentucky 78-59

7 hours away from Green Bay.

Villanova tonight against Nebraska at the Pavilion (830PM on FS1) in the Gavitt tipoff games

Green Bay takes on Ga. Tech tonight, I'm curious to see how well Green Bay plays.

Marshall leads UT at half 38-35

Final Marshall 74 UT 84

Green Bay got pummeled by Georgia Tech 107-77.

They've been to Stanford, ETSU, and GT all in less than a week. Of course we have a huge road trip too...

Citadel put up 132 points last night. With our high octane offense it should be interesting when we play them. We might score 120 + against them. I think the most ETSU has ever scored in a single game is 125. Could we break that record when we play El Cid?

Great question. But I doubt it. I think Forbes, if we get into garbage time, will start working on things and getting time in for the younger players. Who knows.

We only have 1 younger, player Stokes and we going pretty much all the way down the bench other then Stokes and Moore so even in garbage time hopefully we will have people on the floor who can score.

Expecting Chatt will beat Illini tonight. Another brand name win against what will end up being a bad team.

Chattanooga will fall hard tonight.

Interested to see how Mercer does against Davidson

I am hoping for a return to the days when Chattanooga fielded consistently excellent teams -- and the Bucs were better.
