Attendance will get better for some high-level opponents that count, but you've got to wonder, by how much if this is the baseline compared to previous exhibitions. Competitiveness will help, but people are just done with Pastner. Defense is a problem obviously already.

Hard not to think "what if" Nichols had stayed, but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion they miss tournament.

Agree about Nichols. He was our "go to" guy when we needed points last year. Tarrant and maybe KJ look like they could take over that role this year. Where we will sorely miss Nichols is on defense - we only seem to put up token resistance to anyone driving to the hoop.

Haven't read this thread but: Burrell is the most athletic and best player at creating his own shot that we have (Tarrant is good also). If Woodson gets close to the minutes that Burrell gets, going to be a long season.
