Well, I don't think we're a mediocre MAC team anymore.

That stat says it all.

That's the most troubling stat for sure. Pollard was the guy that could take guys off the dribble and score. Thomas and Avery are suppose to be passing PGs. If they're not setting up our bigs we have no chance.

Disclaimer: I didn't see or listen to the game tonight, but I figured the outcome would be something like how the box score and the comments on this thread read. While losing two guards is tough and no one is going to confuse us with the best teams in the conference night in and night out, the one thing I'm convinced of is that the other teams in the conference that I've seen aren't real impressive and we can still beat anyone on any given night. It may be fewer and further in between for the rest of the season, but at this point it's not about winning games in February. Instead, it's about the team relearning how best to play together and we need to focus on trying to get hot in the second and third weeks of March.

Might be time to start scouring the rec and/or football team. Dellinger and Italiano lettered in basketball in HS and are seniors so they don't have football commitments. I remember they did that with a football Sr. a few years back when Holt and Singltary tore their meniscus's in the same week. Can't remember the football player's name.

We need to win some in February as we are only two games ahead of the number 9 seed. I'd hate to have to win a road game just to get to Cleveland. They are probably better than the showed Tuesday but it has to get better quickly or the mountain will be too high.

CMU is playing well, so I think it is a little of they played great and we played poor, but I expect a bounce back game Saturday. Or I hope so since I will be making my way to NE Ohio for the game. 04-cheers
