Darius Jackson is having such a great season. I'd love to see what he could do with a decent defense that would allow us to properly execute a "run to set up the pass" offense. Those numbers would be even crazier.

I hope he gets a chance at the next level. You can see flashes of an NFL running back. Might not have the speed, but I'm sure he'll get invited to the combine. Wow them there, and your stock will soar.

I really like how Jackson runs north and south and runs with physicality. Don't forget also that Shaq Vann has 88 carries for 555 yards and 5 TD's, and averaging over 6 yards per carry.

On defense it is not merely our poor rush defense, also 3rd down conversion rate and lack of ability to force turnovers. We aren't getting multiple helmets to the ball. Seems we have improved from last season with multiple defenders with QB sacks and tackles for loss - last year was only POC - getting him back next season with MacLean and hopefully some JC's would be big.

Our offense needs to cut back on turnovers, but most other categories we have been much improved over last year.

The EMU defense is not just bad, it's off the charts bad. It's actually rather amazing.

I did notice that the worst three rushing offenses in the MAC happen to be EMU's final three opponents. Maybe that's a good thing, then again, maybe they are so low because they have not played the vaunted EMU paper curtain defense yet.

I noticed that we have ONE INT for zero yards.

I believe the 2nd worst team had six.

That's also the product of a poor D-line and horrendous run defense. No pass rush and very few 3rd and long situations.
