The rain (again) won't help matters any.

"What if we held a football game and nobody showed up?"

I have, do, and always will, feel bad for the players. To come here with talent then not be coached up and/or used to their fullest potential has been going on far too long.

. . . one of those games where we're happy the arrendance announced is "tickets sold" and not "cold butts" on aluminum seats . . . . .

. . . on the bright side, lines for Bad Hot Chocolate may be short . . .

Weather isn't a great excuse today. It's not raining. It's just a bit wet from some earlier light rain and the temperature may be cold for some, but its not bad.

There really hasn't been much rain at all this week like they were predicting in the area.

Lets go with the Wurstfest excuse... Nobody bothers to show up when the Sausagefest comes to New Braunfels. What's better is that our schedule worked out in such as way that we have homegames scheduled for both Saturdays of Wurstfest; sometime tells me light attendance for both games.

Ok, have just been watching the weather radar. Maybe the one I use sucks because it showed a lot of rain up there with more on the way. That means it missed; which is a good thing.
Been raining on the coast since before dawn.

I am in town for Wurstfest and will be at the game. May be going by myself can't give away another ticket. Met some others at Wurstfest that are going as well.

We won the last two I was in town for PV and USA so let's keep that streak alive. Me being in attendance in Houston sure didn't help though.

Based on the Bobcatfans thread (http://www.bobcatfans.com/forums/viewtop...&t=26248), those few stranglers that are still around gave up.

I'd rather post here then over there. I still do but am much more active on this board

NMSU played us close last year...put up over 600 yards on us. There is nothing certain about this one.

Anyhow,
Go Bobcats!

RE: New Mexico State at Texas State Discussion Thread
Bobcatfans chases away new supporters who haven't grown jaded with the program yet. It doesn't surprise me that traffic on the site is low. Team's performance is only part of their problem.

I lurk the site every now and then to check for new info but I haven't posted over there in two years

15 mins to kickoff and super small crowd. I bet they report around 14,000. Students have given up. Don't even see Greeks for homecoming.

I hate how opponents always go for it on 4th down against us. They know we have no chance at stopping anyone on a yard or less.

TD Aggies.

Bobcats dropped an interception and NMSU converted a 4th and 1.
