There is a poll on ecupirates.com about being for or against artificial turf at dowdy ficklen. So far, very few have voted for it, and I for one am against playing football on anything other than grass. In fact, I think that football should be played outside (unless it is arena football) and on grass. If you can play outside and on grass at Lambeau in January, you for sure can play football outside and on grass in Greenville NC during Sep, Oct, and Nov.

They aren't really considering the field turf are they?

I know what field turf is, but the point was that it is not natural, God created, genetically altered, green grass.

The real grass planted in real dirt does just fine in the Fick. It should stay that way.

We will be cursed forever if we switch away from natural grass. It would be a crime to bring in artificial turf of any sort.

Grass should be the only turf that is displayed in the Fick; since we can grow it. Field Turf is good to practice in. I would also like to see a indoor practice facility with field turf for any of our sports to utilize.
