Which Conference American team
Has a chance to make the playoff if they go undefeated/win the conference campionship?

Temple, Memphis, Houston, Navy?

^This

They will not allow Memphis to be in the playoff regardless of the outcome. They will always use some sort of excuse: i.e. "Undefeated Memphis didn't quite pass the eye test. We believe a 2 loss Alabama deserved in instead."

Yeah I see the difference. I meant the new year day game. I don't think they let any non power conference team in except us and I think they give us too much credit.

Whoever wins the conference championship game in all likelihood gets the Access Bowl. Memphis has the toughest schedule to get to the championship game. Memphis, Houston, and Navy are all in the western division and Memphis has to still play those two plus Temple.

Temple is in the eastern division and should easily win it and go to the CCG. At this point, Temple has the easiest route to winning the AAC and making the Access Bowl, even with 2 possible losses.

Will they? Who knows, but in a couple of weeks things will be a lot clearer.

RE: Which Conference American team
The optimist in me wants it to happen.

The idealist in me thinks if everything goes just right, there is a chance.

The realist in me would be shocked if that cesspool of a committee let one of us in.

With that said, an AAC team finishing in the top 8 would still be a tangible accomplishment and set a precedent for making an expanded 8 team playoff, should it ever happen. Let's also not forget that UCF finished in the top 10 of the BCS rankings in 2013. That would be 2 out of 3 years the AAC champion finished in the top 10, with the down year being a #25 ranking (at least for one of our 3 champions).

That's not nothing.
