One thing I've noticed about us is that in good times we tend to get overrated. We were projected BCS busters for about 3 years running btwn 99, 2000, and 2001. Now, they seem to be underrating us a bit in the same manner. I guess we earned both. I see us doing way better than their projections. Of course, way better than most projections would be 4 wins. I think we can.

Not much info or analysis to chew on there, Jonathon.

Can't say I blame you for your 2-9 for ECU, but we have many reasons for higher hopes.

Hopefully all of our opponents will read this and similar commentary and overlook our Pirates.

Glad we are predicted low. Now it will be fun to see the prophets eat their words at the end of the season. Anyway, these predictions are based more on last year.

Times are changing, times are looking up.

He's sandbagging, and doesn't realize:
1 - ECU has a much better coaching staff, and
2 - ECU has some good returning players.

I think ECU will win no less than 4 -- Rice, Central Florida, @ Tulsa, @ Marshall

If I'm wrong about how well Duke has recruited in the last 2 seasons, ECU will win 5.

I don't think Dook's gonna be ready physically. It's gonna be a hot day and those turkeys are practicing at night. You can have the fanciest schemes in the world, but if the players are sucking wind and cramping up, it don't mean a doggone thing. I think the second half is gonna be all Pirates. We'll see though, I'm not known for my accurate predictions.

All I know is that this is the longest durn week of the year. Lawd 'ave mercy make football start.
