Would love this if for nothing else than it's entertainment >>

Brett McMurphy ‏@McMurphyESPN Nightmare @CFBPlayoff scenario: Memphis, Ole Miss, Alabama win out. Is SEC champ Ole Miss left out? Will committee consider head-to-head?

All 3 wouldn't get in. College Football Live just discussed that exact scenario. They think Memphis would have it over Ole Miss, due to the head to head win, but Bama would get in over both, even without the SEC championship.

You know the AAC will get screwed over any SEC team.

RE: McMurphy - Nightmare CFBPlayoff scenario
I'm personally rooting for

1. Clemson
2. Ohio State
3. Notre Dame
4. Florida

Want Ohio State vs Florida in the Urban Meyer Bowl for the championship with Ohio State winning out.

Notre Dame would be funny because Everett Golson left to go to FSU to play for a national title.... So lol...

UCF sucks this year, I guess I'm rooting for the weirdest story lines possible.

Big12 being left out helps expansion.

RE: McMurphy - Nightmare CFBPlayoff scenario
The answer should be obvious:

Alabama gets in. Ole Miss and Memphis do not. You really need to realize that when the mighty Alabama loses they weren't beaten by the other team. They beat themselves.

-Ole Miss beating Alabama = Alabama lost the game and Ole Miss did not win it.

-Memphis beating Ole Miss = Ole Miss is bad so Memphis really doesn't deserve much credit for it.

That's how this whole college football playoff thing works. You know, Florida with their better SOS than Alabama and a road loss to #2 LSU is only worthy of #10. Alabama with their worse SOS and home loss to freaking Ole Miss is worthy of a #4 ranking. Right?

But do you really want them considering expansion coming off an 0-12/1-11 type year. Yes, I know UCF (and USF) both bring a lot to the table, but it sure would help if both were playing well at the same time. USF and UCF together are a strong package. If they go with the hot team, Memphis may get looks. It's about the here and now
many times, and yes I know how good UCF was recently.

The delusion on this board is mind boggling sometimes. Memphis will not get in over an undefeated Clemson or an undefeated B12 team.

Pretty close. I did hear them say that Alabama gave the game to Ole Miss. Ole Miss lost to Memphis because they had some injuries.

The thing is that even the eye test with Alabama doesn't work. They have a great defense and a really good running game. If they had a halfway decent quarterback then they would likely when it all. They are very one-dimensional offensively.

Except when they play Georgia, then Coker is Drew Brees.

Agree completely. I want the Big12 to get into the playoff this year. Move any Big12 expansion down the road a couple of years, till UCF/USF are playing good ball and can really sell the package deal/rivalry to the Big12 folks. 04-cheers

The best one was to say that Bama blowing out Georgia was better than Florida blowing out Georgia.

You can't make this stuff up.

Because Ole Miss holds the tie-breaker over Alabama, thus keeping the Tide out of the SEC CG.

I know that...what I am saying is that Ole Miss is not on some higher ladder (like Bama) when it comes to watching the CFP. It would make no difference to the college football world whether Ole Miss is in there or Memphis is in there. Lets not put them on some sort of pedestal that doesn't exist.

I can 100 percent promise you that if the teams you like get in I will not give 2 fracks who wins and won't watch
