Things are moving forward. The architect was selected last week and I hear they are working on final designs now. Remember, we are following state construction processes and they can take a while.

Why are you using pictures of my old high school stadium?

Actually Bucaneer stadium on the campus of Charleston Southern University

They've upgraded since that photo, but yes ... small

I have full faith that our renovation will be beautiful.

Everything we have built on our campus in the last 10-15 years has been spectacular. This will be no different. I guarantee it.

But like Rok said, it takes time to go through the proper approvals. You have to remember...this Sun Belt thing got sprung on us rather quickly. But we will respond. I have no doubt.

Is there more than one? I've said many times on here that I am happy CCU got the invite. You guys will have an immediate impact in a lot of sports. I think USA and CCU have a lot in common actually.

Please don't judge us all by a couple posters on here. Most USA fans I know are in favor of CCU.

I do expect our stadium to be top notch when we finally build it. We don't holdback on anything else. I'm hoping to hear more information about it by the end of this year. I've heard the Board of Trustees want an update to the study at their December meeting.

Texas State's stadium isn't just nice...its drool worthy.

Meanwhile, we play in a 60+ year old hunk of rusting metal with bad seating, no parking, few facilities for fans, poor signage that is 10 miles from our campus in an unpleasant neighborhood.

Agree. I think Texas State has by far the nicest stadium in the conference and it's not even close.

Who said there are no plans? I assure you there are plans, we just haven't seen them yet. They just announced a huge fundraiser a few weeks ago that includes an indoor practice facility among other things. Although the fundraiser didn't specifically state anything about a stadium, there was a lot of money unaccounted for. It's just a matter of time before something is formally announced. They have a committee doing research now on the logistics and costs. This has been announced by the Predident. I doubt they would announce that then say no to the stadium. That would certainly have huge backlash.
