He hired her and then gave her another year. He is the AD at UNCW just in case you forgot he has a job to do there and it includes more than one program. Her players hate her and the parents have zero respect for her. I know a couple of the parents and it is as bad a situation as it gets.

Women's team lost @ Duke today, 78-56.

Their coach was complimentary of our team, especially for racking up 20 offensive rebounds despite our lack of height. For whatever it's worth!

So what man. Find me one mid major AD that doesn't miss on one hire throughout all the athletic programs.

For the most part, UNCW is continually improving in several sports.

I'm not saying the issue shouldn't be addressed, but it's highly unlikely it puts him anywhere near the hot seat.

This. Look at how successful virtually all the other programs are currently. You cant win them all

Seahawks fells 60-40 to JMU yesterday in Harrisonburg. During the game, # 24 Emily Thomas apparently suffered a knee injury (I believe it was a re-aggravated knee injury as well).

If she's out that leaves us with 6 players to dress on gamedays going forward.

Amen. No pun intended.

Women's team playing with a lot of fight and effort tonight. Facing a 7-2 Drexel team at home and the Seahawks are only down 31-30.

Down 10, under a minute left. Fun game though.

RE: 2015-16 Women's Basketball Thread
Seahawks were down by only 3 with less than 2 minutes to go, but Drexel finished them off with an 11-0 run. What was interesting is that even though UNCW only dressed 6 players. Drexel only played 7. Since UNCW was hitting all of their shots in the 1st quarter and since they took a 10 point lead early, Drexel didn't have the luxury of going deep on their bench, and relied on their regulars to try to pull away. Very gutsy effort by UNCW.

Seahawks defeat W&M 59-44 with only 6 players. Have to give credit where its due: Under Adell Harris, you can never say that this team plays without passion and heart.

Is anyone willing to re-visit the dumpster fire that is our Women's Basketball team? over/under on days after championship that Harris is retained? +/- 3

It's a pretty depressing topic, really. I'd prefer to focus on our successful Men's Basketball and Baseball programs right now. Softball is off to a very good start as well (10-4)!

If I remember correctly from when they played us, some are injured, and I think one was suspended indefinitely.

RE: 2015-16 Women's Basketball Thread
Our center (Flowers) has back issues and hasn't been able to play. Another key player was kicked off the team right before the season started. I think she was missing classes. And I hear that the freshman has been injured. I know we have two transfers sitting this year, one from Penn State who is touted as a big scorer.
