Miami pulls off 10+ laterals last minute kick off run back to beat Duke
In a throw back to the Cal - Stanford game ending, Miami scored on a full field romp ending in a TD to win their game with Duke. Their laterals took the ball all the way back to their own 3 yard line before crossing midfield and scoring. All it lacked was the Stanford band in the end zone.
What a plug for the interim FBHC to get his program national attention.

EDIT: On tonight's "The Zone", they reported that the officiating crew for that game has been suspended for missing a couple of calls that would have ended the play and preserved Duke's victory, but they didn't go so far as to award the game to Duke. The "loss" knocked Duke out of the Top 25"

One might think that the last play of the game would be always reviewed if it is one that impacts who wins.

On "The Zone" they said that BOTH the field crew AND the Replay crew were suspended for missing the call.

In spite of instant replay, we find ourselves back to the 1965 Bama at UGA game where a photo showed a lateral off a pass that won the game for UGA was made by a player who was down (on his knees). Like the Miami TD, the one that gave UGA a 18-15 win should not have been allowed. But as is said, "That's football".
