MyBB Five programs in decline entering the new season
Is this how Memphis is seen nationally? IMO this is very disconcerting.

I think that's tame to some degree. Basketball people, nationally, have known what's going on here for several years. Not good.

Florida, Arkansas, Kansas State, Missouri, and Memphis. I wonder if Florida, Missouri, and Arkansas fans believe it?

Are you surprised? AN was the glue for this team.

Why deny we're in decline? We are.

When they said we lost Kuran Iverson...I had forgotten about him. I remembered Nick King, Pookie and Austin but had forgotten Kuran.

The players we lost just in one year would be a bubble NCAA team.

Not if Josh was coaching them

Now this is the Law of the Jungle-

As old and as true as the sky:

And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper,

But the Wolf that shall break it must die.

As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk,

The Law runneth forward and back.

For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf,

And the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

- RUDYARD KIPLING

The jackal may follow the tiger, but, cub, when thy whiskers are grown,

Remember the wolf is a hunter—go forth and get food of thy own.

I remember when we used to get all up in arms when a sports journalist dissed our team (eg., Jeff Goodman, Doug Gotlieb, Seth Davis.) Where's all the good fans?

RE: Five programs in decline entering the new season
The negs are reaching a new low trying to rely on a poorly investigate article to support their claims. All this guy has done is read off a bunch of names without looking into the details on why the number are as they were. Many of those leaving were cancers to the team and brought the team down due to their selfishness. The so called team of player who left would be lucky to finish at 500 due to the attitude of the players involved.

Five programs in decline entering the new season
Well since Josh has joined a real Conference, albeit not very good, his winning % has steadily went downward.. If I'm not mistaken his winning % in the AAC is around 63%..
His AAC Conference winning % is 61%.. While I'm at it his winning % against top 25 is 16% and his winning % in playing in the NCAA Tourney is 33%..
That's just freakin awesome!!
