Two big middle fingers to the football gods
Three sold-out, rocking stadiums. Three deserving fanbases, chomping at the bit, and on prime-time (relative to the timezone), national TV.

Football gods take a dump on all three of them.

Two big middle fingers to the football gods. J__g offs.

Especially in Minnesota's case. Kill deserved the win. Minnesota deserved the win.

240 lbs QB can't sneak it in from the half yard line?

F__ you football gods.

Watching the two games I think Minnesota looked better than MSU.
I would flip the results if I had my choice Kill is a great coach.

No one deserves a win simply because their head coach has to quit because of his epileptic fits. That isn't football.

Mind your words.

Lest you forget last time Iowa was embarrassed by a Minnesota interim head coach.

Football gods love to pee in everyone's Cherrios.

I doubt my words will matter in that regard. Iowa is well aware that Minnesota is going to bring their best to that game, as always.

I havnt placed any bets on Iowa going undefeated this year. I think they will but I absolutely wont be surprised if they screw the pooch at some point.

There are no football gods, there is just a game of chaos.

There absolutely are football gods, that control the random bounces and control the improbable happenings in the game. Like a 240lbs QB getting stuffed on a half yard line sneak.

It will be hard to top the last play call by minnesota. Feel bad for their coach, he went from a lock to getting the job to getting run out of town in a couple of seconds. Maybe a good effort against ohio state and iowa and he can still coach his way into the job.

That Stanford vs Washington St game was a good one, kicker hit all 5 field during the game, except the most important one.

While I'm a minority, he absolutely made the right call. Go for the win, control your own destiny.

No way a 240lbs QB gets stuffed at the half-yard line. Right??? No f'ingg way. With the crowd chanting "JERRY JERRY JERRY!!"

No MF'ing way.

What are you talking about?? Of course he didn't hit the game winner.

That would be the right thing. That's what should've happened.

Football gods love to keep f'ing with fan bases that are part due to cycle into at least one winning season. Love to piss on them, then have a nice belly laugh.

RE: Two big middle fingers to the football gods
There are no football gods. There is only the Las Vegas closing line that ever has an interest in the final spread of a game, not the W & L's per se.

But what happened to your 240 lb quarterback from Minnesota was the 300lb rumps of his offensive line got shoved into his gut by the stronger 300lb defensive lines push at the snap. Your QB could have been 6'7'' and 300lbs and the result would have been the same. That has nothing to do with football gods.

The fact that you only had one crack at the win instead of 3 with 19 seconds to go was sheer stupidity in leadership and the inability of the your QB to be aware of his surroundings in a key moment. Advantage Michigan for not being stupid.

19 seconds and 1 timeout left and you only get off two plays. Incredible!

Nah! The Auburn Cheerio's are pretty whizzed upon already. But it was lousy talent assessment at the QB spot and an over hyped defense that was given credit for being better just because Muschamp became the DC.

Well, again I know I'm in the minority, but I think the calls were both 100% correct.

Kill the time and get into the end zone at the last second, to ride off into the sunset as Jerry Kill's champions.

Except that the football gods prevented a play that has 99% success rate from happening. Had nothing to do with Michigan's D Line, which got pushed around all game by MN O line.
