Vegas makes a living on what they do. However, I'll take Marshall and their pig play defense..

RE: Lines in the Sand (C-USA)- Week 10
Rice 4-4(2-2) @ UTEP 3-5(1-3) Rice struggling to make bowl eligibility. RICE 34-17

FAU 2-6(2-3) @ WKU 7-2(5-0) FAU won their Super Bowl last week. WKU coasts to victory in this one. WKU 55-20

Charlotte 2-6(0-5) @ FIU 4-5(2-3) Charlotte's bad. FIU takes a step toward bowl eligibility, but never wins big. FIU 24-14

North Texas 1-7(1-4) @ LaTech 6-3(4-1) UNT is winning again. LA Tech plays a lot of young guys in this one, and looks ahead to showdown with USM for the west LA Tech 48-20

Marshall 8-1(5-0) @ MTSU 3-5(2-2) If MTSU plays like they did in Ruston, Marshall wins going away. But I don't think they do. MUTS 38-35

ODU 3-5(1-3) @ UTSA 1-7(1-3) Is it possible for both of these teams to lose? No? Too bad. UTSA squeaks by for the west. UTSA 27-24

RE: Lines in the Sand (C-USA)- Week 10
Rice @ UTEP; Owls roll on toward bowl eligibility
FAU @ Western Kentucky; No contest. Glad I got to see Doughty last week. He's the best QB I have seen in C-USA the last two years.
Charlotte @ FIU; Once again, the 49ers go hard -- but go down.
North Texas @ LaTech; Long trip back to Denton
Marshall @ Middle Tennessee; My upset special (even if Vegas does have them favored -- in my mind it's an upset)
ODU @ UTSA; Monarchs enjoy the ride home from the great state of Texas

RE: Lines in the Sand (C-USA)- Week 10
Friday, November 6
Rice @ UTEP - I was wrong about Rice pulling off the La Tech upset, so I refuse to put anything about an upset. Rice steamrolls UTEP

Saturday, November 7
FAU @ Western Kentucky - Someone said that WKU has never beaten FAU at home? Is that actually true? If so, not any more... WKU easy winner here

Charlotte @ FIU - Growing pains continue for Charlotte, but I think this is the game where Charlotte actually makes a game of it, but fall short.

North Texas @ LaTech - The good news? No 0-for season for UNT... the bad news, your reward for getting a win? A clobbering by the Dawgs

Marshall @ Middle Tennessee - As much as I'd like to think homefield advantage might help MTSU, I don't see it happening, Marshall rolls toward the C-USA East showdown with WKU.

ODU @ UTSA - UTSA... you blew it against North Texas? REALLY? Is it possible that a two-game losing streak puts a coach on the hot seat? If they lose this one it does.. but I'm going to say it doesn't happen.

Yes, surprisingly, FAU has had WKU's number. FAU is 5-1 against WKU all-time. Admittedly, most of those wins came at a time when we sucked just a bit less than WKU.

Although true that WKU has not won at home against FAU, some explanation and clarity is in order.

The first time we played in BG was 2008. WKU was still FCS but in it's 2nd year of transition from FCS to FBS and FAU won, as it should.
The 2nd time we played in BG was 2010, WKU's 2nd year as a full FBS and FAU won, as it should have.
The last time we played in BG was 2012, WKU's 4th year as FBS and FAU won.

Given the context of their wins, I wouldn't put much into the "curse".
