I would rather Tech face Marshall than WKU. Our biggest weakness is pass defense.

I want USM @ WKU.

I just don't know. Every week, I feel better and better about our chances against WKU. I think it will be a close game. Our teams just seem like they will cancel each other out. Should be for the East.

If Marshall loses at MTSU and beats WKU, would Marshall play at Tech (assuming we win out)?

You would have to be ahead of us in the top 5 computer ranking averages. I think that is how it is anyway. Beating WKU should give us a boost.

Will Marshall be able to do the unthinkable that WKU did to them a year ago? It will be another great game for us to witness.

Marshall has the #1 defense in the conference and you know the old saying.... (USM is #2, Tech is #3, WKU is #10).

But Marshall has the worst Strength of Schedule at #151 (followed by USM at #144, then Tech at #106, and WKU at #105).

They are all pretty evenly matched, imo. It's going to be very interesting.

Its not nearly that big of a gap this year. Unthinkable was WKU on the road beating an undefeated top 20 team. Us beating WKU this season would not be much of a shock at all.
