Oregon at Arizona St, bad call in 3ot
What good is replay in college football if the ones viewing the replays still can't make a correct call in slow motion? Oregon had TD stand in overtime even though the replay clearly showed the receiver foot out of bounds in the back of the end zone. Arizona St was screwed!

The replay is in the highlights.

The tip of the left toe lands on the chalk.
Did the right toe touch the ground before the left toe touched out of bounds? If so, it's a TD. If not, it shouldn't have been a TD.
Crazy #Pac12AfterDark game.

It's a call that should've been confirmed or reversed, there isn't a reason why a definite call couldn't have been made. There weren't any obstructions. In my view his right foot was up when he gained position.

I don't see your point. Doesn't look indisputable to me with those 3 camera angles. Replay made the right call to let it stand. His toe was probably in the white, but I can't tell for sure.
Also, it was only 2nd and 8. And when ASU had the ball, they threw an interception from the 3 yard line. So even if Oregon settles for a FG, ASU loses.

1/4 of his foot was clearly over the line, they blew it up on TV & it was obvious. My point is that if you can use replay, slow motion, still pics & blow it up than you should be competent enough to make a clear call & confirmation. Take the time to do your job right. The call didn't cost them the game, Ariz St did that, but it was another horrible call from a PAC crew.
I remember a few seasons ago when the BE replay crew missed a field goal call. Isn't the point of replays to correct bad calls on the field?

CFB needs only one foot inbound to be a legitimate catch. Evidence has to irrefutable to reverse the on field call.

It wasn't in this case? One foot going up & the other on the line.

Can't see that from the link. They show 3 camera angles, but none of them clearly show it. The best angle has a camera blocking the view and they didn't have a camera from the side.
One thing that always bugs me is how infrequently you have that side view. The cameras are always on an angle.

This is what I saw before and it was inconclusive. They don't blow it up as you said they did on the actual broadcast.

The live broadcast blew it up from several angles & his toes were clearly on the line. The announcers in this case were dead on, out of bounds.
