The debates have been terrible. It not the media job to try to take out candidates. They are suppose to ask the questions and let the voting public choose. The moderators got personal with the candidates. One moderator literally asked Trump if he was a comic book character the way he was running is campaign. Then asking about fantasy football in a debate when the country is Trillions of dollars in debt. Jusk ask the questions and stop being cute.

I'm not really trying to stick up for CNBC (which I honestly don't watch much) but superhero question was legitimate. Trump has run an entire campaign of of fanciful claims that he's going to make America better without much legitimate substance behind his promises (yes I know he put out a tax plan). It's kind of like a 5th grader getting elected class president by saying she'll make the vending machines in the lobby free for everyone. Great promises with no way to back them up. But that's what being a real estate tycoon is. It's selling people on developments that haven't been constructed yet..sometimes they work, sometimes they don't but when they don't it leaves everyone associated with the development (similar to Atlantic City) in shambles, except the tycoon.
The fantasy football question was fanciful, but it was kind of supposed to be. It just illustrated the kind of daily issue a president might have to weigh in on, that's not of supreme national importance, but it lets you see the candidate's development of opinion, problem solving, and knowledge about issues pertaining to constituents instead of Washington beuracrats.
The problem wasn't really the CNBC panel, it was that no one would answer the questions they were asked and they wouldn't let the other candidates speak. The biggest mistake CNBC made was not cutting off the candidates microphones when they had outbursts.
