Not oversight.
He did his p5 draft. All p5 players.
No real scouting or thought behind it.

From the article.
Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State. I know he’s struggled again this year.
Amazing comment.

LOL. what is so amazing?
MY comment is based on the fact that all players are p5.
Not on Hackenberg.

Before the season there was some thought that he would be pretty good. He's got good size, 6'4", 225lbs. It would be a stretch for him to get drafted by the 3rd round.
This year stats:
107-206, 51.9%, 1521 yards, 7.4 avg., 11 TD's, 2 Int.
Against ranked teams (Temple, Ohio State):
18-38, 47.3%, 223 yards, 1 TD, 1 Int.

I was referring to the comment of the writer. To have a player in the top 5 of the NFL draft with the comment of "I know he has struggled AGAIN this year...' is amazing.

that quote is not accurate ... the quote is even worse!
4. Houston (2-5) – Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State. I know he’s struggled again this year. And there’s no buzz around him because everyone loves Jared “Bear Raid” Goff

Hackenberg, imo, is a good qb. He is a horrible fit for Franklin's system. You have to remember that NFL teams draft on potential as well. In saying that, I think Lynch is better, in terms of what he has done as well as potential.

Completely disagree. My sister went to Penn State, I have family from the area, so I follow them a little bit. Hackbenberg is built like Tom Brady, but he plays more like Mitch Mustain. He's is terribly inaccurate and inconsistent. He doesn't play nice with his coaches. He tends to be a statue in the pocket. He blames others for his lack of success.
If I were a scout, I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole. If you watched the Ohio State game, he overthrew a wide open RB on a simple screen pass by about 10 feet. He's no good.
Oh, and he shouldn't even be mentioned in the same conversation with Paxton Lynch.

You really need to take a deep breath every now and then. First the ACC and now this. Your ignore list is going to be so long that you won't have room for your posts
Then again ....

Thanks for the info. Was it just me, or was Lynch making NFL quality passes to Miller on those out patterns during the Ole Miss game?
