Okay, our 2nd national television game this year.

First national game from The Factory.

Go Green.

Refresh my memory, how much are walk up tickets? Going to be rushing up from Adrian once I'm off work at 530.

Twenty is also the point spread. Total points (both teams) is 64 in Vegas.

That roughly equates to a 42 - 22 game.

That makes sense. I expect significant scoring by both teams.

I'm not sure Western will bring their 'A' game. EMU will.

EXPECTING a good performance and will not accept a blowout. Creighton and McCaslin better not s**t the bed tonight. Even bad teams rise up against instate rivals at home. I will not accept anything less than a hard fought, competitive game. I will not listen to any more Chris Creighton excuses. He knew he wasn't going to be playing Valparaiso and Butler anymore when he came here and quadrupled his salary. Man up and play tough football!!!! No more excuses. Go Eagles!

Covering the spread would be a victory.

Not all tickets are obtained from the ticket windows.

I'm sure fans outside the stadium could help you with cheaper tickets.

How about a little nostalgia for us to revel in? 2011 win over Western:

2:13 (Javonti Greene's 50 yard TD run) and 2:33 (4th-and-goal stop for the win) are my favorite moments in sports I've ever witnessed live. Listen to how loud Rynearson was. It's incredible.

I was a sophomore, and that game solidified me as a life-long EMU football fan forever. No matter what.

I'm sure we all remember, but that game was really a special time for us (EMU fans). During that fourth quarter, the crowd was engaged in the game like no other time I've ever seen in Rynearson. I remember students walking out of the stadium smiling, and saying "We're going to a bowl game!"

We were 5-3 at that point. It seemed like the dark days may be over. And though it didn't turn out to be our time yet, I'll never forget how proud I was that season. I'll never give up on this team, because I know when that feeling comes back, it will be SO rewarding.

English did a nice job with that team. Fun season.

Having a competent defense was nice. Brad Ohrman, Brandon Slater, Latarrius Thomas, Marlon Pollard, Willie Williams...those guys could play. English couldn't replace them, and we've had a bad defense ever since.

And were the main reasons (along with Jabar Westerman, an English guy) why our defense was good. They were stout at the point of attack. Did a great job against the run.

Having a corner that could cover, and safeties that could tackle, was nice. But having a big, strong D-line was crucial.

EMU is collecting food for 'Swoop's Food Pantry' and those who bring a non-perishable item will get $5 off the price of a ticket.

I remember walking back to campus and everyone was outside celebrating on the streets and houses down Ballard. Awesome atmosphere throughout the day.

Agree. The DL is EMU's biggest weakness. Getting O'Connor and Harris back will help but those other young guys need to develop. If they do get a little better and if they avoid injury the DL might be OK next year.

How many freshmen DL are red shirting this year?
