It implies he believes that the number of uses of the stadium, and the presumed money derived from those events, for basketball places the stadium's basketball priorities above football. Hard roof for the Carrier Dome...coming probably in '17

$255M+ includes ADA compliance and upgrading Archbold Gym next door. I heard it will be part of the Dome after the reno. No word on the attached hotel.

Fabric air supported....right now. Giant fans have to run 24/7 to keep it inflated

The new roof will have translucent properties to it...no word on Air Conditioning yet. I think Cuse is playing hardball with Carrier Corporation to come up with the equipment. I don't think they want Trane, American Standard, etc... in there.

I think I might try to make it up to the dome next year. One of my co-workers is a die hard cuss fan and i want to do two road trips next year. Clemson is a given (best road trip int he ACC). This seems like a good one, so I can see it prio to renovation. Granted I prefer new swanky venues, but I've been in new domes. Never been in an old one

Can we legally add "No" to the name of the Carrier Dome? If so, I think I just found a way to get UTC to pony up some mo' money for naming rights.

It would be absurd to spend that kind of money on a new facility and not put air conditioning in it – especially when your dome is literally named after an air conditioning company.

If there's no air-conditioning there'll be a lot of dead people at the end of the early football games. That place will be a hot house if they use ETFE as the material for the roof. AC is necessary. And I think this is part of the plan.
