Grizz have to trade him

I'm not so sure they need to trade him, but TA definitely needs to start instead of Green. Green doesn't play so bad with the second unit.

Trading him may be the only way to keep him out of the starting lineup, Joerger seems hung up on wanting Green to start. He tried it last year and it didnt work and messed up the momentum we started the year off with, now it looks like he didnt learn anything and is insistent on making it work.
Exactly.

Grizz gave up so much to get him and now they really can't get anything for him. If trade him though for a veteran point guard or even a second round pick. He just doesn't fit with this team

The stupid thing is that Jeff Green fits perfectly with the backups. You need Tony with the first unit to guard the other teams best player. Why is this so obvious to everyone but the coach?

I think the Griz coach knows his job. He is at the highest rung of his profession and brought the team into the second round of the NBA playoffs last year. One bad game does not mean it will be a bad season.

Did you listen to Joeger after the game? The guy literally came in and essentially said we need Jeff Green's playmaking of the bench. If that's the case went in the world was he starting?

Joeger has not learned from last year. He might be at the top of his profession that still doesn't mean he doesn't know what he is doing from time to time. This is one of those times.

Jeff Green is an average player who looks like a guy that should be a star. The core 4 guys have been doing this for 5 years now their results are pretty good when they are on the court together. It's mind boggling that Joerger still can't see this

Griz management (just not the coach) would not have acquired Green if they did not think he could contribute. I think more evaluation time is needed because seldom lately have Griz management made personnel mistakes.

More evaluation? How much more evaluating do some of you need? You had half a season last year. Playoff games. Pre season games this year and last night. Jeff Green has looked awful the majority of the time. Jeff Green in the starting lineup has been a disaster since it was implemented.

I truly wonder about some you sometime in whether y'all actually watch games or just follow on a game tracker. It doesn't take a genius to see Jeff Green isn't any good. There is a reason Boston did a complete 180 after he was dealt

I can think of no other activity other than sports where fans and media think they know more than the professionals.

The Griz coach and management have performed well compared to their peers. Green will be evaluated and dealt with in due time.

There comes a time as fans and media where you start to question those in charge. It's now time. Jeff Green was a bad trade period. This team takes a certain type of player to fit in with the way the team is built. Jeff isn't that guy. It's been obvious for a while now. Those in charge saw what everyone else sees. They see a guy that is ridiculously gifted athletically. So gifted that you are fooled until you get him on the court and he underperforms time and time again.. The evaluation period is over and had been for a while. Jeff is an average player nothing more

Tony is starting tonight and he should've started last night
